Frequently Asked Questions

Jet Boat Questions?

We’ve Got Answers!

We hope these questions have given you more information to help plan your tour with us. If you have any questions that were not addressed, please feel free to contact us via our contact page, and we will respond as quickly as possible!

  • How long is the tour?

The average tour goes 14 miles up & down Lake Taneycomo. Tour length & time may vary slightly depending on weather & lake conditions.

  • Where are you located?

We are located at 7a North Boardwalk on the Branson Landing in-between Joe’s Crabshack and Saltgrass restaurant. View a map of our location here.

  • Do I have to make a reservation?

No, but it’s recommended. Seating can fill up quickly during the season. Reservations can be made online at bransonjetboats.com  or by calling 417-334-7683.

  • Do All Passengers Have to Sign an Adventure Agreement?

Yes, all passengers must sign an adventure agreement before participating. Each minor must have it filled out with their information, and signed by a parent or guardian.  This must be completed for all guests before boarding the boat. To be fair to all guests, tour departures may not be delayed for unfinished participant agreements.

  • Will I get wet?

This is a lake adventure! There is a chance you will get splashed, and the closer you are to the front the wetter you will get. The front few rows can get very wet during some maneuvers! Seat preference is not guaranteed and is done on a first-come first-serve basis unless you have purchased a preferred seating pass, Arrive early if you have a preference!

  • What should I wear?

Casual and comfortable clothes. On a typical summer day, shorts and a t-shirt are recommended. On cooler days, long pants and a light jacket.

  • What happens when it’s raining?

Heavy rain and lightning will most likely delay the ride (rather than cancel). We will try to depart once the storm passes.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

Customers will receive a full refund or re-booking credit with 48 hours notice of cancellation or changes. Changes or cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled tour are non-refundable. No-shows will be charged the full price.

Customers will also receive their choice of a full refund or re-booking credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather, a tour with <20 passengers, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. Please plan to arrive at least 45 minutes prior to scheduled tours. Late arrivals may miss the tour and are non-refundable.

  • Is there a restriction for children?

The jet boat ride is not recommended for children under 3. Children under 12 are not allowed to sit on the outside of rows, and all passengers in the first row must be at least 48″ tall. All children under the age of 7 are required to wear a PFD at all times while on the boat. We provide life jackets for the children.

  • Do you provide raingear or ponchos?

Ponchos are available for purchase at our kiosk. Sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, and towels are also available.

  • What time do we have to be there for the tour?

You must arrive at least 45 minutes prior to scheduled departure. If you have not prefilled an Adventure Agreement for everyone in your party, please allow extra time, as well. The boat begins loading fifteen minutes prior to departure, and boats may not be delayed for late arrivals or incomplete Adventure Agreements. Late arrivals may miss their scheduled tour and cannot be refunded.

  • Can I take my camera or cellphone?

Yes, you may bring a camera or cell phone along at your own risk. It is recommended to purchase a waterproof cellphone case from the kiosk. We are going on a lake adventure that may splash!

  • Are there restrooms available?

There are restrooms located across the Branson Landing boardwalk from the kiosk. There are no restrooms available during the course of the tour.

  • Can I bring a Service dog or Therapy dog on the boat?

Due to the nature of a thrill ride such as the Jet Boat, for the safety of our passengers & of the animals we are not able to accommodate animals of any kind.

  • Can anyone take part in the ride?

The jet boat ride creates forces that may not be acceptable to some persons. Participants will be exposed to outdoor elements, forces from jet boat spins, speeds, and other thrill features that may cause distress or injury to persons with pre-existing health conditions. Please consider these features in determining suitability for ALL passengers. Only guests in good health should participate in Branson Jet Boat tours. For your safety, please consult your physician if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure, motion sickness, heart, neck or back problems, recent surgery, or any other medical condition that might be aggravated by the forces of this ride. All guests, including those with disabilities or who use a wheelchair, must be able to transfer into and out of the boat by themselves or with the assistance of a member of their party. All passengers are required to read and sign our adventure agreement. Please review this agreement to determine if this ride is appropriate for you.
